Church at home is your opportunity to build community and encourage each member of your family to grow in their faith by watching praise and worship, as well as an encouraging message through our online platform.

FOR CITY LIGHTS KIDS:
Just like we do at all of our Sunday services, we want our City Lights Kids to experience Jesus at their own level. Please partner with us as we have created some fun, at-home activities that you and your child can do together. After watching the video, you can download the PDF file that includes follow up questions, as well as the activity. Thank you for working with us as we continue to move our CL Kids forward!

HOW TO GIVE:
Tithing is our demonstration that God is the source of everything we have. It is the covenant that believers make with God to bring the first 10% of our income to build God’s house. An offering is above and beyond our tithe. Please partner with us to support the mission and ministries of City Lights through this act of worship.

WHAT TO DO:
STEP 1

Prioritize the morning like you normally would.

STEP 2

Create the space. At City Lights, we value excellence in all that we do. To create an excellent home church environment, you can follow the steps outlined below:

+ Playing our City Lights spotify playlist while you get ready/eat breakfast

+ Depending on how you are viewing the service, make sure that everything is prepared. For example, if you are connecting a laptop to your TV, have it ready prior to service starting and be ready to hit, “Play”

STEP 3

Engage in worship, take notes & interact online with the message, and pray with your family.

STEP 4

If you have preschool or elementary aged kids, take time to watch their age specific kids lesson for the day and ask the provided discussion questions.

Make it memorable by posting pics to your social media accounts and by tagging @citylightsVA
